Your Conference Time

Parents, be sure to look closely at your conference appointment time that went home on a special sheet with your child today. There may be two times on the form due to the fact that your child has different math and language arts teachers. Since these are core subjects (meaning that they are the most important), your conferences are with the teacher or teachers who teach these subjects. That may mean that you are not conferencing with your child's homeroom teacher. If you feel that it is important to speak with your child's homeroom teacher, take a look at the teacher's conference schedule to find a time when she might be free. That would be the time to poke your head in to her classroom to ask for a quick conference. The teachers will do their best to accommodate you.
