On April 11,2011, we had our 4th and 5th grade Spelling Bee. It was a plain old Monday, but there was excitement in the air. The event was held in the bandroom at Necedah Area Schools. This event was part of the Scripp's National Spelling Bee.
The contestants were:
Miranda, Audry, Amber, Braedynn, Cole, Jenna, Vanessa, Nick, Brendon, Jacob, Brian, Megan,Jamie, Ana, and Parker.
Ms.Gross called out the words to spell. The winners were Braedynn and Brian. Braedynn is a 4th grader and Brian is a 5th grader.
At the very end each contestant got a ribbon. Everyone got a ribbon for participation. The winners will compete at the next level in Bangor on Wednesday April 20th, 2011.
