Death of the Black Fish

There is an aquarium in the Necedah Elementary Office. For years, kids have admired the fish in it. Recently some of the fish died. Mekenzie M. and Hatanna L. recently interviewed Mrs. Pam Darnell,elementary secretary, to get information on the death of the black fish who was a special favorite. The fish died on Friday, April 8th, 2011. Mrs. Darnell thinks that maybe one of the fish had a disease that spread to the other fish. 3 years ago, the black fish was sent to Mrs. Darnell from the High School Office. It lived in 3 aquariums in this school, as well. The fish ate algae on the bottom and sides of the fish tank. Pam Darnell noticed the fish was dead on April 8th. She felt that the fish may have been dead for about 2 days by then. Kids will miss the black fish very much.
