Harris Burdick Stories

We have been doing an author study of Chris Van Allsburg. Van Allsburg illustrates all his own books. As an author/illustrator Van Allsburg's books undoubtedly make one think -- and think again. Your child should have brought home his/her Harris Burdick rough draft and then revisional draft for you to read and comment on. It is important that you take part in this process. Your child will learn from you as you read and edit. Feel free to suggest ideas that he/she may not have thought of. Who knows -- you may just be developing your own best selling author!
