The weather cooperated and we had a nice day for a field trip on Monday. Mrs. Lisa Potter showed us all of the aspects of growing cranberries out in the marsh and then brought us in the warehouse so we could see how cranberries were packaged. We ate lunch at McMullen Park in Warrens and exercuised a little then stopped at the Cranberry Discovery Center. At the C.D.C. we sampled flavored dried cranberries and investigated the museum. At the end of the visit students had a chance to shop a little and purchase ice cream.
Thank you to Mrs. Veda Olson who accompanied her grandson Sawyer as one of our chaperones and a special thanks to Mrs. Baumgart, Mrs. Ledvina's mom, who accompanied at the very last minute to chaperones students.
