Tuesday, March 10th we will be starting a mini-unit in math on the metric system. Students will piece together their own paper meter and we will talk all about the metric terms and the types of measurement that would be used for different things.
In language arts we will be reading a story about Lou Gehrig in our Heroes unit.
Chapter 4 the Northeast in social studies is our next destination. We will be studying the growth of cities in the northeast. In the near future fourth graders will get in groups and draw out their own cities using all that they've learned to create a city plan of a fine place to live.
