What We're Doing

This week in 4 SUPER H we started a new math unit on addition and subtraction.
We read the story Boss of the Plains. It is a story about the invention of the Stetson cowboy hat. We discussed plural nouns, making generalizations, and reading a timeline and schedule.
In social studies we have been working in our This Business Called Agriculture booklet. We have learned about some of the advancements in technologies that have allowed farmers to feed more and more people.
We learned the o and r strokes in keyboarding.
In writing with Mrs. Winters the students wrote back to their Florida pen pals.
Mrs. Ledvina is teaching the students about weather in science.
