Nightly Reading

Your child should be reading for about 20 minutes every night. This is part of our reading curriculum. Reading at home is great practice and a way to gain knowledge. If your child is in the Cardinal After School Program and he or she reads 20 minutes during that time, one of the PALs will help your child write in the title of the book and initial it. Otherwise your child should read at home. Have them read to you for a nice warm, fuzzy feeling. :)
